What an ignorant, racist & shaming article. The author also has a “why I should” version as well. The sad thing is one of my friend’s little Khmer brother posted this & said he felt these things were funny & true. While there tends to be a lot of drama around “marrying the women from our native land”, this is just insulting. To be quite honest though, I don’t find it surprising coming from him or most other sexist Khmer men. Your thoughts?

This is disgusting and degrading. I feel like I’ve accumulated a thick layer of sludge on my skin while reading this and I’m still in the middle of reading the first few paragraphs. My mom always told me to be careful around Khmer men because a lot of them are sexist and don’t respect women or see them as real people.

I don’t see how this article could be funny, none of it is even true. As a Cambodian-American woman, I feel really insulted and pissed off.

Ugh, I remember reading this a while back. It made me super angry. I’m not even going to bother reading through all of it again.

People thinking that the article is funny and are agreeing with it are all idiots.
